Writing about our trip to Italy:

We were very excited and very happy. Outside the airport, a bus, was waiting for us. We visited the Coliseum, the Pantheon, the Vatican, the Museum of Vatican, Venice Square, some churches…

On Wednesday morning we visited the “Vasílica de Santa Maria degli Angeli” and at midday we took a train and we went to Florència. In Florència, we visited the Ponte Vecchio, La Signoria, the Duomo, the Uffizi, the Academy of Art, In Florència, we had free time for lunch at a pizzeria.

The next morning, we took the bus to go to the centre of Pisa. There we visited the famous Tower of Pisa, the Baptisterio and the Duomo. Then we had lunch in a restaurant. All the time we had ate pasta!
This trip was incredible! I will remember forever!

Write an opnion essay:

The government plans to introduce a new law which will mean that students will go to school on Saturday morning in order to improve the level of education. In my opinion, this would have some negative and positive consequences.

Firstly, I think it would be good if there were more hours of classes.

But also I think that they should have time to study and review, but to be with the families too, because life is short.

In conclusion, I disagree with that law. If there isn't a better alternative. If they introduce Saturdays school, people won't be motivated for school.

AN OPINION

Topic: Do you think old people should be looked after by their families when they become too old to manage by themselves?

I think that old people should be the state's responsibility, not the family's. They should be given financial support, so that they can end their lives without worrying about money. If they wish to live in their own houses, but need special care, this should be given by a government nursing system.

The problem of looking after old people is grater today than ever before. It is difficult for them to be properly cared for by the family because quite often both parents go out to work.

In conclusion I believe that families can't look after their old people satisfactorily nowdays, and that this should be the responsiblity of the state.

SPENDING MY TIME:

My name is slvia and I'm student at Casa Nosta shool in Banyoles (Catalonia). I'm very interested in music and some series from TV.

The people who I spend most time with are Clara Sabe, Blanca Duran, and my brother Jaume. The thing which I like best is sitting on the sofa and listening to music, watching TV, or going out with my friends an a sunny day.

I don't think we could improve it if we shared things more with each other. There aren't many things that make me angry.

I'm optimistic about my own future though.

Lacoste is a brand of clothes, but it is a brand of other products too. It is usually expensive, but the quality is very good.

Lacoste was founded in 1933 by Lacoste René. He began to produce the revolutionary tennis shirt.

Lacoste had designed and used the crocoddile logo embroidered on the chest. Lacoste shirts had been that for golf and sailing too. In 1951 the company had introduced color shirts. In 1952 the shirts were exported to USA and as a status simple of the competence sport for man. The company also began to produce other products underline, includig: shirts, perfums, optical and sunglasses, tennis shoes, plataform shoes, watches, and various products.

More recently, lacoste popularity has shut up to one french designer Cristopher work to create a more modern luxury tour. 5o million lacoste products are sold in over in 110 countries.

I'm just writing to check that everything's ok for your visit.

I think you'll like Barcelona. On Friday we're visiting some museums because people say that they are very interesting. In the afternoon we'll probably go to one of the shopping centers. We'll go to one of the cafés and a cinema.

On Sunday we could get a tourist bus to visit the monuments of the city.

We're going to meet you at the airport tomorrow at ten o'clock.

ASK FOR ADVICE ABOUT A RELATIONSHIP

We've been on holiday here in Italy for two weeks now and I've just met his guy, Paul.
We've got a lot in common and he's gorgeous, but I'm not sure how I feel about him. I need your advice.

I met him on the round last Friday and he invited me to visit the town. Both of us were having a real laugh and then Marc invited me to go to the cinema with his friends. When I said goodbye, he walked to the taxi stop with me. Neither of us could stop talking and we flirted a lot.

I've been thinking about things a lot since then. I'll probably see him tomorrow, but I'm not sure what to do if he asks me out. He seems different when he's with his friends. What do you reckon?

THE DECADE 2000-1010.

The decade 2000-2010 was a decade which people remember for many reasons. There were good times and happy events such as music festivals. There were also difficult times, for instance attacks of 11th of September (2001) against the Twin Towers in New York. In the world of music, the best-selling artists of the decade were Eminem, Beyoncé, Cristina Aguilera and Britney Spears. In cinemas, Clint Eastwood was a big hit. There were five Eastwood films between 2003-2008. Fashions were interesting – it was the era of branded clothing. By the end of the decade, the world was a different place. Inventions such as the iPods, USB flash drive, the iPhone and the automotive navigation system.
